WSDOT Is Seeking A Highly Skilled And Strategic Professional To Serve As The Program Budget And Grants Manager Within The Innovative Partnerships Division. This Management Position Will Provide Leadership In Planning, Developing, And Managing Both Operational And Capital Budgets, And Oversee Grants Administration. The Budget And Grants Manager Will Ensure That Funding Is Allocated Effectively To Meet Strategic Goals, Conduct Detailed Fiscal And Scenario Analyses, Monitor Expenditures, And Implement Strategies To Resolve Budgetary Challenges. The Successful Candidate Will Bring Strong Financial Management And Analytical Skills, Expertise In Budget Development And Reporting, Experience Collaborating With Diverse Stakeholders Including State And Federal Agencies, And The Ability To Communicate Complex Financial Information Clearly To Support Decision-Making And Program Success.
Among The Varied Range Of Responsibilities Held Within This Role, The Program Budget And Grants Manager Will :
- Develop Program Budgets, Allotments, Reconciliations, Reports, And Documents Associated With All Fiscal Matters Of The Division.
- Act As The Primary Budgetary Subject-Matter Expert For The Division And Provide Sound Budgeting Advice.
- Calculate, Monitor, And Report Revenue Projections To Assure Expenses Are Within Budgetary Limits.
- Monitors Financial Performance Against The Budget, Identifying Variances And Recommending Corrective Actions.
- Establish, Monitor And Report On Quality Functions For The Division Budget And Grant Deliverables.
- Work With Division'S Management Team To Establish Fiscal Priorities, Messaging And Performance Standards For Division.
- Identify, Analyze, And Secure Funding Opportunities From Federal, State, And Local Sources.
- Oversee The Deployment Of Fiscal And Contract Data Collection And Reporting Proposals : Provide Reviews And Analysis.
- Develop Grant Proposals, Budgets, And Work Plans In Alignment With WSDOT'S Strategic Objectives.
- Serve As The Primary Point Of Contact For Grant-Related Inquiries And Coordinate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
