Position Overview

The Travel Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a passion for helping patients regain mobility, and a commitment to providing compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans to improve strength, balance, and mobility

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to supervising therapists

Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to continue recovery at home

Maintain treatment areas and equipment in a clean and organized manner

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

Uphold facility policies, safety standards, and ethical treatment practices

Education & Certification Requirements

Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program

Active Georgia PTA License or eligibility to obtain before start date

Preferred : Outpatient experience
