LMI seeks a Management Analyst Task Order MonitorAssistant (TOM-A) to support a fast-paced federal program management office in support of U.S. Border Patrol at the Del Rio Sector in Del Rio, TX. This position joins others already established at Sectors in San Diego CA, Tucson AZ, Yuma AZ, Laredo TX, Rio Grande Valley TX, and El Paso TX. Responsibilities
Management Analyst Task Order Monitor Assistants (TOM-As) support the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) through their assisting USBP Sector Task Order Monitors (TOMs) in maintaining adequate oversight of the vendor, ensuring USBP is receiving sufficient services, and ensuring the timely completion of mandatory reporting and inspection requirements.
The Management Analyst TOM-A serves as an agency representative, reviewing service provider and contractor schedules and work plans, performing quality control on work, and ensuring the contract's Performance Work Statement is followed in a manner maximizing the efficient stewardship of government resources. Specific duties include :
- Serve as Management Analyst TOM-A to support government leadership
- Management Analyst TOM-A will work with TOMs, CBP Ground Transportation Program Manager, and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), to stay abreast of contract changes, issues, and challenges
- Management Analyst TOM-A will work directly with the TOMs to evaluate the Border Patrol Sector Managers' monthly Transportation Plans (TP) and validate the TPs meet Sector requirements, to include accounting for all labor and vehicle hours, and routes
- Management Analyst TOM-A will be required to work with the Sector Managers and other USBP Agents to evaluate if all scheduled hours were worked, and scheduled routes completed
- Management Analyst TOM-As are required to conduct and weekly report their inspection results to the TOM and COR
- Management Analyst TOM-A will be required to monitor the contractor's GPS tracking system (Geotab) daily
- Management Analyst TOM-A will ensure deliverables are provided to the COR in a timely manner
- Assist TOM with creating monthly deliverables :
- Performance Log
- Meeting minutes
- Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
- Inspection reports
- Ensuring all Incident Reports are completed and attached for sending to the COR on a monthly basis
- Other reports as needed, to include spot inspections on vehicles, routes, and Facility and Medical Guard posts
Qualifications
5-10 years of directly relevant experience or Bachelor's with a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience.Former US Border Patrol Agent or former Office of Field Operations personnel, preferred.Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
