Description : Position Overview :
This position will perform a wide range of Customer Service and Administrative duties for the SG Homecare while
working either in the field or on-site at the respected hospital.
Essential Duties
Essential functions within scope for this role, but are not limited to, the following :
- Works with hospitals, groups and clients either on site of hospital or in the field
- Serves as point of contact for case management, discharge coordinators and hospital and / or medical group staff
- Assists medical groups and / or other provider groups regarding products and services available under the contract.
- Troubleshoots with the medical groups and any relevant on-site departments if issues arise.
- Maintain and control inventory kept on site of hospital
- Facilitate patient discharges by coordinating equipment delivery to bedside and home
- Review clinical documentation for medical necessity and justification
- Create patient account and necessary sales orders
- Dispense equipment to patients
- Obtain patient copays
- Collect, scan and upload all patient documentation
- Request authorizations through portal
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications
3+ year of Customer Service ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred)Three years of industry-related experience.Self-starter, motivated, and detail-orientedAdhere to all safety and compliance regulationsImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with the industry including equipment, logistics and insurance guidelinesProblem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyProficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and Microsoft OfficeMust possess a valid driver's license in good standing
