Pay Rate :   $80,000 year

Position Overview :

The Director of Mental Health Services is responsible for providing direct support to victims of domestic and sexual violence . This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of behavioral health and supportive services.  This position is also responsible for supervising Counseling services, victim advocacy and hotline services teams.

HOURS : 40 hours weekly minimum or as necessary to achieve program objectives, responsibilities, and tasks.     Work Schedule to include :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Serves as the primary counselor for the agency, providing appropriate and empathetic therapeutic service to victims of domestic violence.
• Serves as a mentor to agency counselors, assisting with development with client therapy plans.
• Responsible for the hiring and retention of competent, qualified counselors / therapists.
• Supervise and collaborate with organizational staff.
• Responsible for entering client notes into data management system in a timely manner.
• Overseeing and auditing counselors’ client notes into the data management system.
• Work with PM to conduct performance evaluations for all counseling staff.
• Responsible for facilitating and coordinating support groups or assigning alternate facilitators and providing support group materials.
