We are seeking for our client, an industry-leading investor, a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing finance team supporting a major development and operations project in Queens. This role offers exposure to complex accounting processes and the chance to grow within a dynamic organization.
What You'll Do
Prepare and review accounting transactions and financial statements at both the corporate level and project level.
Manage billing and revenue recognition for tenants and concessionaires, including common area maintenance (CAM) charges and profitability tracking.
Support year-end close, audits, and potential finance transformation initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Accounting Operations & Financial Transformation and the project finance team.
Provide accounting support for other high-profile projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
4-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in industry, construction, retail or real estate (ensuring exposure to ASC 606 / revenue recognition and CAMs).
CPA or CPA in progress; candidates actively pursuing certification will be considered.
Financial reporting experience with US GAAP.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Flexibility to work on-site at Madison Avenue and Queens project site , with schedule evolving from full-time on-site to hybrid.
