Job Description

Job Summary : The assembler position works on the electrical and mechanical assembly and final integration of products. This position is for an experienced individual with 1year minimum experience building assemblies and sub-assemblies and wiring of components.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

\n

  • Assemble products to completion following electrical drawings and schematics

\n

  • Read / Interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings

    • \n

  • Work independently and follow a schedule

    • \n

  • Participate in shop cleanup activities

    • \n

  • Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules

    • \n

  • Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned

    • \n

  • Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System

    • \n

  • Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of

    Job Requirements : \n

  • Ability to understand assembly prints

    • \n

  • Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts

    • \n

  • Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring

    • \n

  • Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools / drills up to highest torque 65 in-lbs

    • \n \n

    Hours : This job requires occasional overtime, which may change to meet our business's needs.

    Second Shift : Monday-Friday, 3 : 30 p.m. through 12 : 00 a.m.

  • Includes an additional shift pay differential

    • BREAK / LUNCH : 30 minutes lunch, plus two 15 minute breaks, to be determined by manager

    UNION : IBEW Local Union 3

  • Medical / Dental / Vision / HRA / Annuity - 6 months from date of hire

  • Vacation Time - will begin effective June 30th, after 6 months of continuous employment

  • Mandatory One-Time $182 Union Application Fee
