The Event Producer is responsible for managing the planning and execution of off-premise catering events. This position will work with clients to finalize their events and then work with Sales and Operations to execute the event to the client’s standards while adhering to Green Apple Catering protocols. This role would coordinate menus, rentals, and staffing, as well as be responsible for communicating with all internal teams to ensure successful event execution. The Event Manager will be responsible for timeline development, logistical creative execution, work‑processes, and client communication. You must be a self‑starter, execution obsessed, be able to work with a variety of people with varying work styles, and the ability to prioritize workload.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist with initial sales inquiries and prepare quotes as neededManage all client communications relating to the production of events, ensuring the highest quality experience for clients is consistently deliveredManage all internal communications relating to the production of event, while meeting weekly deadlines for completion of food, beverage, in‑house equipment, and rental equipment orders, including post‑event synopsisManage Banquet Event Orders, including changes and special requestsCoordinate and lead site visitsAdministrative paperwork. Not limited to :Create and edit rental equipment orders accordinglyApply for liquor permitsCreating and editing menusCertificate of InsuranceAttend events to ensure successful execution and to provide additional support and supervisionCoordinate and plan tastings with clientsWork with the on‑site Events Team for off‑premise events to create “one‑of‑a‑kind” experiencesEstablishes and maintains service standards and hospitality best practicesAble to work nights, weekends, holidays, and a variable schedule, per the needs of the businessProactive approach to handle challenges that arise and an ability to quickly troubleshoot problems on the event dayExperience / Qualifications
1+ years’ experience in an account or event management role in catering or similar businessBachelor’s degree or certification in a hospitality related field or equivalent experienceProficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Catering Software Programs, CRMs, Microsoft Office and Microsoft ExcelBasic understanding of off‑premise event logistics and requirements, off‑premise event management experience requiredDemonstrated interest in the hospitality industry, specifically in catering, event planning and / or salesYou must be a self‑starter, problem‑solving, adaptable, and detail‑oriented personMust be able to work with a variety of people with varying work styles, and the ability to prioritize workloadThe ability to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent communicator and with superb verbal and written communication skillsWork in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects / assignments with tight deadlinesDrag & Drop Files, Choose Files to Upload
