Warehouse Supervisor, 2nd Shift

This position is located in West Chester, OH
Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities :
- Manage the performance of people and processes in the warehouse
- Plans and assigns work
- Monitor and maintain shift production and report needed staffing levels to management
- Consult with Inventory / Quality Control Manager on training needs
- Follow good GDPs and ensure employees do as well
- Coaches, counsels and directs warehouse employees
- Responsible for administrative duties involving time records, general paperwork, absentee and vacation schedules, disciplinary records, safety investigations and quality assurance documentation
- Enforce safety requirements
- Encourage excellent work through acknowledging skilled employees
- Continuously improve workflow and process
Requirements :
Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of supervisory experience preferred2 or more years of warehouse experience preferredAbility to accurately and safely maneuver a fork lift truck and other warehouse equipment in a busy warehouse environmentQualified in the operation of key informational systems within the warehouseAbility to communicate clearly and coach employeesComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to calculate figures and amountsAbility to apply common sense understanding to give and carry out instructions necessary for the operations of the businessWork Environment / Physical Demands :
This position requires work in a warehouse environment with loud noises and changing / challenging climates (hot / cold based on the season). You must be able to bend, grasp, kneel, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. You must be capable of deft finger movements for control of the forklift and enough visual acuity to maneuver in tight spaces without damage to product.
