Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Zanesville, Ohio (43701) – Ohio nursing jobs Assignment Length : 16 weeks Start Dates : 9 / 15 / 2025 or 10 / 20 / 2025 (no other start dates available) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Schedule : Every 3rd weekend and 1 holiday (subject to change based on census and staffing) On-Call : No regular on-call required; rare call days possible Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880 - $2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for travel nurse jobs BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum of 3 years recent cardiac stepdown experience, including heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, post-op open heart patients, and cardiac / med-surg stepdown patients Experience with open-heart recovery, ventilators, and Epic EMR Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients, including those recovering from open heart surgery and heart catheterization Monitor and manage cardiac drips and post-op open heart patients Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other units during low census or coverage needs Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures Discover the charm of Zanesville, Ohio, while making a difference in cardiac patient care.
