As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. You will utilize your communication skills and technology to support daily operations, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate : $15.67 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PMSun07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the facility to help to deter suspicious behavior and report irregularities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment for employees, donors, and visitors.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks within the healthcare environment and respond according to site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
