Essential Functions :

  • The CMM Programmer / QA Inspector is responsible for setting up, programming, and calibrating CMM machines to inspect parts per specifications.
  • Duties include performing and documenting inspections at all stages—receiving, in-process, final, and shipping—using precision measuring tools.
  • This role supports First Article Inspections (FAIRs), nonconformance reporting (NCRs), and documentation in the ERP system.
  • The inspector works closely with Engineering and Production, reviews and approves MRB dispositions, and contributes to corrective actions, audits (AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 14001), and quality improvements.
  • Additional responsibilities include training others in measurement techniques and supporting cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
  • Requirements :

  • To succeed in this role, candidates must effectively perform all essential functions.
  • A high school diploma and a minimum of three years of experience in quality assurance or a related field are required, with contract manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Candidates should be proficient in CMM setup, operation, and programming, and have knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, ISO14001, AS9102, and FAR–DFAR requirements.
  • Familiarity with quality testing tools and procedures is essential.
  • Strong English communication skills, including the ability to write clear and detailed documentation, are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is required.
  • The role demands self-motivation, attention to detail, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a focus on building strong client relationships are also essential.
  • Compensation Range :

  • CMM Programmer / QA Inspector :   $23.00 - $27.00 per hour.  Experienced CMM Programmers may be eligible for an increased rate based on experience and skill level.
