Cust Eng III (CA) / Field Service Technician- Diagnostic Imaging

This is a remote, field-based position covering territory in San Jose / East Bay, Oakland, and Sacramento . The ideal candidate should reside within an hour's commute of these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain medical imaging equipment efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Prepare work orders, parts orders, and administrative paperwork.
  • Maintain assets according to company policies and procedures.
  • Enhance product knowledge through training.
  • Service and perform periodic maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Respond to technical and application inquiries.
  • Install multiple products within the same modality.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations and documentation.
  • Perform FDA and SPD testing on assigned products.
  • Stay current with technical developments across product lines.
  • Support field operations with technical expertise.
  • Develop troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Work independently, managing workload and making decisions within established guidelines.
  • Provide remote technical support and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical support teams and contribute to knowledge articles.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of advanced electronics experience or an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
  • 3 years of field service experience.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to install and service multiple imaging products effectively.
  • Proven ability to develop effective internal and external relationships.

  • Salary range : $72,100 - $116,100 annually, DOE.
  • Position level : Mid-Senior.
  • Employment type : Full-time.
