Overview

Responsible for performing physical inventory counts. Determines accuracy of system data by validatig against location count.

Responsibilities

Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory items.

  • Follows established cycle counting schedules and procedures.
  • Accurately records count data and updates inventory systems.
  • Identifies and investigates inventory discrepancies and variances.
  • Collaborates with materials and inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintains high levels of accuracy in inventory records.
  • Ensures all inventory adjustments are properly documented and authorized.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Maintains organized and up-to-date records of cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to pass forklift certification
  • Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience Requirements :

  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting / moving average weight (up to 50 lbs) material.
  • Ability to perform occasional frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and / or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
  • Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours)
  • May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
