Description :

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.

Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions.

Establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care appropriate to identified problems while involving the patient and family.

Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills.

Oversees the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel.

The clinician is expected to work in a fast-paced environment with neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and oncological conditions as well as general medical cases.

Engages regularly with the interdisciplinary team.

The rehab department consists of a large team of associates, including core and per diem physical therapists and assistants.

The team collaborates closely on a daily basis, providing real-time documentation and point-of-service care.

Training will be provided by the team to prepare the clinician for clinical responsibilities.
