job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment. Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential issues and report unusual or suspicious behavior. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least one year of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver's license is preferred for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for primarily driving posts. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
