Cashier Job Description

As a Cashier at Tacos 4 Life you will have the unique opportunity to make a REAL and TANGIBLE impact in people's lives by the way you interact with our guests and team members.

Tacos 4 Life Grill is looking for a friendly and outgoing cashier / lobby server. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the best customer service to our guests that come into the restaurant. The foundation of this begins with loving people : loving the children we are serving through our Meal 4 Meal program and the guests we are serving in our restaurant.

Cashier Job Duties :

A cashier is responsible for :

Creating exceptional experiences for our guests that will make them want to tell others
Connecting on a personal level with each and every guest
Operating our POS system with accuracy
Being knowledgeable of our menu in order to answer any questions a guest might have
Communicating clearly with our guests in order to ensure accurate orders
Being outgoing and engaging as we interact with guests
Being able to work efficiently to make appetizers between orders
Every interaction : ear-to-ear smile, eye contact, enthusiastic greeting, engage the customer, educate the customer if needed, and encourage upselling

Qualifications

A love for people and interacting with people on a consistent basis

Have a heart for the Meal 4 Meal Mission and understand that the team's success makes a REAL IMPACT in the world

Teachable, loves to learn and grow

Ability to offer grace to customers and team members when it is not always easy

Takes initiative

Previous cashier experience preferred

Has excellent verbal communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Attention to detail
