Certified Med Tech (CMT) - Night Shift

Join our team at The Lutheran Home as a Certified Medication Tech (CMT) and make a meaningful impact on our full-time night shift. In this role, you'll administer medications and also assist residents with their activities of daily living, helping to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

• Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
• Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction.
• Assist residents with ADL care as needed.
• Answer call lights and take appropriate action.
• Complete documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures.
• Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and / or changes in resident's conditions or incidents to the nurse.
• Communicates residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner.
• Encourage respect, communication, and teamwork.
• Participate in ongoing staff education and training.
