Description :

Minimum years of experience required : 1 year for physical therapy, in line with industry standards.

First-time travelers are acceptable for this position.

Patient types include medically compromised patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, DM, cardiac issues, orthopedic, neurological, dementia, and general weakness.

Ages of patients range from early adults to geriatrics.

Required certifications include physical therapy licensure and BLS.

Physical therapist education must include a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy.

General physical therapy skills are necessary, including the ability to evaluate patients, determine effective interventions, perform medical assessments, and develop care plans.

The home health department team includes various healthcare professionals.

The charting system to be used is EPIC.

No specific equipment skills are required for physical therapy.

The position is intended for the Southern area, covering multiple surrounding locations.

There is no weekend rotation or call required for this position.

The office is closed on six major holidays.

Time-off requests require manager approval.

Scrub color can be any, or business casual attire, though denim and sweats are not permitted.
