PACU Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities
As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will :
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Support administrative tasks related to Risk Management, Employee Health, Infection Control, and Performance Improvement.
- Supervise and guide other Registered Nurses and ancillary staff in the Pre-Operative and Post-Operative areas.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while ensuring patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA policies.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

You will serve a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents (12 years and older) to geriatric patients, all requiring pain management or surgical intervention.
Physical Requirements
This role may require you to :
Lift up to 50 pounds independently or up to 150 pounds with assistance.Stand or walk for extended periods while on duty.Handle equipment and instruments with manual dexterity.Work in a clean, well-lit environment, while being prepared for potentially stressful situations.Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have :
A valid Texas State Board of Nursing license as a Registered Nurse.Current BLS & ACLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days of hire) and PALS certification (within 60 days of hire).A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in ICU, Emergency Room, Recovery Room, or other critical care settings.Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.Basic computer literacy to perform essential job duties.Join Us and Enjoy :
