Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised $260 million in Series C to accelerate this mission. We are opening a new Factory in Mesa, Arizona, a 270,000-square-foot facility that will create 350 new jobs immediately. Hadrian is launching a new headquarters, Hadrian Maritime to serve the naval production sector, and a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems rather than individual parts.

Hadrian collaborates with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and major defense contractors across aerospace, shipbuilding, and aviation to scale production, reduce costs, and expedite delivery on mission-critical programs. The factories-as-a-service team analyzes our customers' production and supply chain challenges, builds data-driven presentations, designs and scopes factories of the future, and assists the Federal and Strategic sales team in forming long-term partnerships with the DOD, Primes, and other manufacturers.

This team is responsible for scoping, design, cost, schedule, and technology analysis, as well as proposals for major programs and manufacturing transformations across all manufacturing methods and domains. With several major programs in flight, we are hiring rapidly for this team to analyze, design, scope, plan, and handover (or join) execution of large-scale manufacturing efforts.

The Role :

This is the team that will restore forging to a core American industry

Oversee drawing reviews, CapEx planning, and automation feedback for Forging as part of the Factories as a Service team.

Lead Engineer for scoping, designing, planning, and automation feedback for forging across all material types and configurations.

Review drawings for manufacturability rapidly, select the right CapEx for part numbers and assemblies, advise our automation team on forging best practices, and have a deep working knowledge of production and inspection methods for Forging.

Assist in building new factories for existing production scope, and contribute to the manufacturing processes of new products where Forging is a designed-in function.

Analyze drawings at a technical level, and plan forging lines or factories from scratch. Interviews are being conducted at all levels.

What You'll Do :

Analyse customer drawings and current state of production to design, build, and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines

Contribute as a key player in factories-as-a-service efforts

Deliver cost / schedule / solutions in partnership with our customers and the Federal team

Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing

What We're Looking For :

SME with deep expertise in forging production and inspection

Able to travel ~25% to DOD and prime facilities

Able to analyse DFM, and design / plan production and inspection lines for Forging

Prior experience standing up new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive or other domains

Ability to move quickly and make risk-adjusted decisions

What Will Set You Apart :

Software or automation experience is not required, but helpful

Working knowledge of forging technology and CapEx
