Job Summary – RN, Inpatient Rehabilitation

Facility : University Hospitals Rehabilitation Hospital – Beachwood

Shift : 07 : 00 – 19 : 30

Contract Length : 13 weeks

About the Facility :

A 50-bed, state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to recovery for patients with severe injuries or illnesses. Accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program, including Stroke and Brain Specialty Programs.

Patient Population :

Stroke, amputation, traumatic brain injury (TBI), cardiac conditions; ages range from young adult to geriatric.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive nursing care for rehabilitation patients.

Conduct patient assessments and administer medications.

Perform dressing changes and other clinical procedures.

Document care in Cerner EMR.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Float across all units as needed.

Requirements :

LPN LICENSE

Minimum 2 years of experience.

BLS certification.

Strong critical thinking, clinical skills, and patient care abilities.

Professional, competent, and friendly demeanor.

Preferred Skills :

Experience in stroke, TBI, amputations, diabetic care, and transplant patients.

Effective communication and customer service skills.

Unit Information :

Patient Ratios : 5–9 patients per nurse

Equipment : Standard medical

EMR : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy Blue
