Base pay range

Amergis Healthcare has an opportunity for a Residential Support Counselor to provide care in residential homes and community based settings at multiple locations in Chittenden County.

Pay : $30 / hour, paid weekly

Schedule : 32-40 hours per week, multiple shifts available, 1 weekend day per week

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in a behavioral setting
• Must be comfortable working 1 on 1, sometimes with severe cases
• Valid driver's license, and use of a personal vehicle to transport residents as needed
• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major
• High school degree or equivalent
• Routine lifting
• Ability to work either Saturday or Sunday
• Knowledge of medical equipment
• Committed to trauma-informed approach
