Job Description : Aerospace Specialist – AOG / AERO Desk

Location : Carson, CA (LAX Area) – Primarily Remote with On-Site Support as Needed

Schedule : Morning Shift, 5 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch included)

Salary : $75,000 per year (Salary Only)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Specialist to join our AOG (Aircraft on Ground) / AERO Desk team . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Air Export operations and hold a valid forklift certification to support on-call warehouse releases at our Carson, CA location. This is a primarily remote position with occasional on-site requirements for AOG activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage AOG and Aerospace desk operations , ensuring timely and efficient logistics support.
  • Handle Air Export operations (minimum 3 years of experience required).
  • Perform on-call warehouse releases using forklift at Carson, CA warehouse (as needed).
  • Support customers with domestic and international logistics , including :
  • Air Export & Air Import
  • Ocean Export & Ocean Import
  • Domestic freight services
  • Provide customer service, quotations, and shipping arrangements .
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend AOG support (minimum 4-hour adjustment will be provided during weekday shifts if weekend / after-hours duty is assigned).
  • Learn and cross-train in additional logistics areas (Air Import, Ocean Import / Export).

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Air Export experience (required).
  • Valid Forklift Certification (required).
  • Strong understanding of international shipping and freight forwarding.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts (5 AM – 2 PM).
  • Flexibility for after-hours / weekend AOG duty (with compensatory weekday time-off).
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with the team.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in AOG logistics support .
  • Knowledge of Air Import, Ocean Export, and Ocean Import operations .
  • Familiarity with LAX and Carson, CA logistics operations.
