$35,000.00 / yr - $40,000.00 / yr
Job Overview :
The Benefit Support Specialist is responsible for educating long-term care facilities about the Provider Partners product and managing engagement in supplemental benefits. This role will assist members with supplemental benefit utilization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work under the direction of the Associate Executive Director to meet customer service expectations through our Partners.
- Contribute to developing a viable service territory.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Provider Partners' supplemental benefits.
- Act as a liaison for Provider Partners in a designated territory through group or individual education opportunities related to supplemental benefits.
- Educate eligible consumers about specific supplemental benefits.
- Participate in planning and implementing outreach strategies with the Provider Partners sales team.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to assist members with benefit utilization.
- Assist with member satisfaction and facilitate benefit usage.
- Perform basic administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain knowledge of plan benefits, program changes, and industry insights.
- Ensure compliance and quality in benefit usage, adhering to policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Strong confidence, interpersonal, and communication skills.2+ years of customer service or equivalent experience.Experience in creating, facilitating, and presenting to stakeholders via in-person, conference calls, WebEx, etc.Ability to work occasional evenings / weekends.Reliable transportation, valid driver's license.Proficiency in Windows-based applications.Ability to work remotely and travel within the local territory.Ability to communicate complex healthcare information effectively.Ability to develop relationships and manage multiple priorities.Compassionate communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional Details :
