Employed Neurological Spine Surgery Opportunity in Detroit, MI Mix of General NS & Spine base proceduresActively seeking a BE / BC fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon for a full-time, employed opportunity in Detroit, MI. We have a newly appointed, fully accredited, Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program to support our neurosciences programs. What to Expect / Key Responsibilities : Mix of General NS & Spine base proceduresTypical schedule : 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR / Procedure / Call days per week Shared call with 5 providers â€" 8 NPs to assist with inpatient rounds 24 / 7 Specialized Equipment / Resources : PACs on site â€" attached to hospital Working mainly out of the DMC Neurosurgery clinic downtown at Harper Hospital Supportive ancillary staff available Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilitiesA willingness to participate in research is welcomed.
