As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Burgaw, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining order at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and / or potential threats, reporting observations according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or incidents within the location.
  • Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and / or the public while upholding site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas as required by site policies.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, activities, and / or irregularities as outlined by Allied Universal procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
