Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Medina, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote peace of mind throughout the facility. Exceptional customer service and communication are key as you assist individuals and address concerns. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of individuals at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, following company and / or site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors in a healthcare setting.
  • Collaborate with onsite staff and local law enforcement if needed, while following established procedures and protocols.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must provide proof of vaccination in accordance with hospital requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
