An oncology provider in Denton, TX is looking to bring on  Medical Assistants. This person will be responsible for triaging patients, rooming patients, recording patient data, taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, administering injections, some of the scheduling for appointments and assisting with procedures. They will also need to keep the patient rooms cleaned, organized, and prepared for new patients coming in. This person should be comfortable working alongside 4 Physician's. It is important they can thrive in a fast environment, possess strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, they should be comfortable completing other administrative tasks, i.e. patient telephone calls for referrals, phone in prescriptions, patient education, as requested by their supervisor or physician.

Requirements :

• 2+ years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Experience triaging patients, rooming patients, taking vitals, chart prep, and administering injections
• BLS Certification
• Experience with an EMR system
• Hs Diploma or GED
• Thrives in a fast pace environment
• Professional + Strong Personality
• Strong organizational skills
