As a Full-Time Property Manager at Y, your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the property to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone. Coordinating maintenance requests will be essential to keep the facilities in top shape. Additionally, you'll manage cleaning staff and work closely with our energetic team to foster a sense of community. Flexibility is key as you navigate the different systems in the building. What you need to be successful
To thrive as a Full-Time Property Manager at YMCA of Greater Toledo, you'll need a dynamic set of skills and qualifications. A high school diploma is essential, and preferred certifications in facility-related areas such as HVAC, electrical, and aquatics (CPO) will give you a significant edge. Having CPR and First Aid certification is a must to ensure safety in our community. You should possess a solid facility maintenance background to understand the unique nature and function of our properties.
Strong human relations, supervision, and communication skills are critical for effectively coordinating activities and collaborating with staff and volunteers. Leadership and organizational abilities will be crucial as you guide your team toward success. Experience in budget management will help you assist the Executive in controlling costs and exceeding our budget targets. Lastly, being flexible and ready to serve as an "on-call" staff person during emergencies will ensure that you excel in this exciting role!
