Job Summary And Responsibilities Offering a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance for qualfied nurses (External applicants only) Position Summary The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self the nursing process and other health care team members. The incumbent as a member of the health care team appropriately assists team members in providing holistic care to patients and their support systems with an awareness of cost containment and time management. RN@DH Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications : 1 year recent open heart OR critical care experience. May consider training with one year of Telemetry or Step Down experience if operational conditions exist. Training positions require completion of basic critical care and dysrhythmia classes. Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills Current California Registered Nurse license Current BLS ACLS required (must be certified through the American Heart Association) PALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire into the position Preferred Qualifications 12-lead EKG and shock class completion preferred.
