Job Summary / Description

Advises students on matters related to academic performance and college readiness. Assists with programs and activities designed to promote an inclusive and supportive culture for all students. Provides academic advising and student retention and success services to enrolled engineering students. Gathers and reports assessment data related to student performance.

Typical Duties / Job Duties

• Provides advising and academic success services and coaching to engineering students and participates in orientation and advising programs for incoming students.
• Develops risk assessment reports for key classes of at-risk students. Develops and delivers appropriate intervention, including referrals to support services, for at-risk students, and monitor their progress.
• Makes presentations to individuals, schools, and organizations.
• Collects and analyzes data related to student retention and engineering accreditation requirements.
• Analyze course enrollments, project future enrollments, to support course scheduling
• Performs other duties as assigned.
