Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with a valid CA RN license and Epic EMR experience for a day shift position with weekend and floating requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in the Case Management department of a hospital

Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 8 : 00–16 : 30

Weekend work is required

Expected to float between all facilities within the state

Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Modules to be completed pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours

Local candidates accepted at a lower rate

Minimal and pre-approved RTO is permitted; excessive requests may hinder offer consideration

First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

Active CA RN license required

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in case management or a comparable specialty

Experience with Epic EMR required

Two supervisory references from within the last three years in a comparable specialty

COVID and flu vaccination documentation required
