CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20774 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing, On-Site Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (06 : 00 - 17 : 30), call required Hours per Week : 40 Unit : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Scrubs : Provided Estimated Weekly Salary : $2440 - $2610 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact State (required at time of submission) Minimum 5 years of recent CVOR nursing experience BLS certification (AHA required) ACLS certification (preferred for CVOR nursing jobs) Experience with Epic charting system (preferred) Experience in Trauma Level I or II and community hospital settings (preferred) Ability to float within hospital as needed Two professional references required (one supervisor / manager and one charge RN) Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (per travel nurse guidelines) CVOR Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room Assist with cardiovascular and general surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repairs, and minimally invasive surgeries Monitor and respond to patient needs throughout the surgical process Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards Participate in on-call rotation as required Support infection control and patient safety initiatives Float to other nursing units within scope of experience as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this CVOR Registered Nurse job in Upper Marlboro, Maryland!
