Manufacturing Shipping Specialist

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist in our aerospace manufacturing facility, you will be the critical gatekeeper for all materials, components, and finished flight hardware. Your meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to compliance will ensure that our mission-critical parts are accurately received, tracked, stored, and shipped according to stringent aerospace and customer standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA, and ITAR regulations).

Compensation : $18 - $26 per hour

Shift : First

Work hours : 8 AM - 4 PM

Education : High School

Responsibilities

• Material Inspection : Receive incoming raw materials, finished parts, tooling, and supplies. Conduct thorough non-technical / visual inspections for damage and verify quantities.
• Documentation Compliance : Verify all incoming shipments against Purchase Orders (POs), packing lists, and crucial supporting documentation such as Material Test Reports (MTRs) and material certifications
• System Logging : Accurately and immediately log all received goods into the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, ensuring proper inventory location assignment and traceability.
• Discrepancy Reporting : Promptly identify, quarantine, and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conforming materials to the Quality Assurance (QA) and Purchasing departments.
