Program Manager I-Annual Giving

As a Program Manager I - Annual Giving, you will work independently, under the direction of the Director-Annual Giving, to manage the planning and execution of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital's annual giving program to inspire philanthropic support. Responsibilities include planning and executing direct response campaigns to raise funds. The Program Manager I-Annual Giving must be a proactive collaborator with excellent writing and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and superior project management abilities.

Responsibilities :

• In collaboration with Director-Annual Giving, develop multi-channel annual giving strategies.
• Manage data strategy for series of direct marketing efforts that employ annual giving best practices and improve donor participation, engagement, and retention; define criteria to pull data, and manage segmentation and preparation to ensure accuracy and integrity of communications.
• Develop creative and effective messaging for solicitation and stewardship communications to drive annual giving growth and philanthropic support.
• Manage content creation and execution, audience segmentation, vendor management, and all phases of the approval and editing process.
• In collaboration with Alumni Relations colleagues, lead class giving fundraising efforts for reunion classes.
• Partner with Office of Advancement colleagues to develop and implement stewardship strategies for annual giving benefactors.
• Research and ensure best practices are developed and deployed while also testing new strategies.
• Ensure program data and progress are reported to appropriate stakeholders.
• Manage general Annual Giving operations, including responding to inquiries from constituents in a timely manner, creating appeal codes, and coordinating online giving forms and emails.
• Draft and maintain documentation for business processes and policies.

Minimum Qualifications :

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum education : Bachelor's Degree

Minimum experience : 6 years in relationship management with externally facing

constituents.

Preferred Qualifications :

Preferred education : Master's Degree

Preferred experience : 8 years; preferably in Philanthropy, project management, database query and reporting experience
