Refrigeration Unit Mechanic

Gateway Truck & Refrigeration is a well-known family owned business with 13 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin. We are looking to add Refrigeration Technicians to our hard working team in De Pere, WI!

Job Duties :

  • Performing mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations
  • Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on needed repairs
  • Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
  • Keep work area clean and safe
  • Complete required documentation for work order files and customer billing

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience as a refrigeration tech or diesel mechanic preferred
  • Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to work weekends, overtime, and on-call as scheduled or needed
  • Possess own hand tools
