Security Professional - Unarmed Residential Patrol

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for residents and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential community.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and amenities to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any incidents, maintenance needs, or unusual activities observed during patrols to Allied Universal management and / or designated site contacts.
  • Assist residents and visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries as appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to the community.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
