We are Utility Design Partners, LLC (UDP), a Fiber Optic / Broadband / Telecom Engineering Firm located in northeast Alabama, and we are currently hiring for Multiple Positions. UDP is experiencing exponential growth and is in immediate need of SEVERAL high-caliber individuals with experience in the following disciplines :

Fiber Optic Network design : Middle Mile, Last Mile & GPON / FTTx. Must demonstrate knowledge of Aerial and Underground cable construction as it relates to OSP design, and an understanding of differing splitter deployments within GPON systems. We need experienced OSP Engineers who can turn reliable field data into feasible and efficient OSP designs. Pay range : 60-75K / yr.

Construction Inspectors : must possess knowledge of underground cable placement, primarily by Horizontal Directional Drills, as well as other common excavation methods. Our Construction Inspectors are always on-site collecting information and ensuring construction crews are adhering to our Customer's exacting standards. Pay range : 46-56K / yr. plus expenses.

Permitting Specialist : we are seeking someone experienced in preparing and submitting accurate applications for state and local permits in a timely manner; and to facilitate and track all necessary changes and follow-ups. Experience obtaining ALDOT, COE and Railroad permits for telecom is preferable. Pay range : 45-49K / yr.

A Hybrid Office / Remote arrangement is available for the right candidate. Experienced Candidates ONLY will be considered.

All Positions are eligible for Overtime. UDP will provide you with a laptop, and any other essential equipment you will need.
