Job Title : PLC Technician
Job Description
As a PLC Technician, you will work with a range of mechanical and electrical systems, primarily dealing with voltages from 120v to 480v. You will engage with robotics systems, including Fanuc and Epson, and work with automation and vision systems. Your role will involve working with Omarion and Allen Bradley controls, reading and troubleshooting PLC Ladder Logic, and upgrading HMI systems. The plant houses 140 machines, and you will be expected to handle extensive pneumatics with minimal conveyor or hydraulic tasks. Our systems operate on a CMMS, specifically SAP.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, including electrical troubleshooting and ladder logic.
Rewire AC and DC motors and read blueprints for effective maintenance.
Utilize and maintain pneumatic and robotic systems, focusing on Allen-Bradley and PLC programming.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems, including VFDs.
Perform mechanical repairs alongside control and PLC tasks.
Engage in schematic reading and ensure system automation efficiency.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with ladder logic and maintenance of PLC systems.
Skill in AC and DC motor rewiring and blueprint reading.
Knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs and automation systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 480v.
Ability to perform mechanical repairs beyond basic troubleshooting.
Experience with CMMS, particularly SAP.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00 / hr.
