Director of Cardiopulmonary Services (Respiratory Therapist) - Ottumwa, IA

Schedule : Full-Time
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following :
- Serves as a role model in professional behavior, leadership skills, problem-solving ability, coaching guidance, risk-taking behavior, and interpersonal skills.'
- Works with manager and team leaders in ongoing analysis and evaluation of patient care delivery to provide high-quality patient care cost-effectively.
- Continually evaluates with others, core processes for redesign and reengineering to improve operations, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, enhance service, and improve performance.
- Participates in budget preparation / monitoring and identification of workload variability to predict and plan for appropriate staffing to enhance productivity / efficiency and maintain quality care.
- Oversees all planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; approving / denying time off; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Requirements :
Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program.Baccalaureate degree in related service lines and / or Business Administration.Prefer 3 years of Cardiopulmonary Management experienceMinimum 3- 5 years of clinical experience in the related field of serviceCurrent Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioners LicenseNBRC CredentialsIowa Mandatory Reporter - Child and Dependent Adult Abuse CertificatesCompany Description
