First Merchants Bank is seeking Credit Database Developer with strong background in SQL to join our team! This position will develop, manage, and maintain internal credit platforms to achieve effective solutions for credit administration, credit reporting and other bank needs. This role is based out of our Data Center located in Daleville, Indiana.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Software Development : Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on project requirements.
• Application Design : Creating application architecture and design documents to outline the structure and functionality of the software.
• Testing and Debugging : Conducting tests to identify bugs, and issues, and debugging code to ensure the application runs smoothly.
• User Interface Design : Developing user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
• Database Management : Designing and managing databases to store and retrieve application data efficiently.
• Collaboration : Working with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the application meets business needs.
• Documentation : Writing technical documentation to guide users and other developers on how to use and maintain the application.
• Maintenance and Updates : Regularly updating the application to fix bugs, add new features, and improve performance.
• Project Management : Managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of development tasks.
