The Clinical Intake Specialist (CIS) will be responsible for providing clinical intakes / assessments for new clients at Sound. CIS will provide an average of 15 assessments per week for a variety of programs throughout the organization. CIS must be able to provide clinical intake assessments for both children and adults. A Mental Health Professional designation (MHP) is required for this position!

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

• Provides direct services and / or internal and external organization referrals for clients.
• Prepares necessary reports, summaries and progress notes, and incorporates into clinical records.
• Assists client to remain stable in the community, thereby reducing the use of hospitals or involuntary treatment services.
• Participates in team member meetings, consultations, case presentations and in-service training.
• Participates in ongoing program development and assessment.
• Understand recovery concepts in behavioral health.
• Apply recovery concepts, as appropriate to my work at Sound.
• Synthesize and demonstrate recovery concepts in my work at Sound.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Current sign-on bonus : $3,000

Pay Range : $25.50 - 26.80 per hour
