We are currently seeking a high-energy individual with a passion for helping others and a drive to succeed to join our team! The Member Services Representative is responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle all front desk activities including :
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Assist new members with sign-up procedures.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Update members' accounts as needed.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.

    • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude!
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and solve problems.
  • Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • High School diploma / GED or equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Standing and walking continuously during shifts.
  • Talking in person or on the phone frequently.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently bend, reach, and kneel for cleaning tasks.
  • Occasional contact with cleaning chemicals.
