Talent4Health is seeking a LPN / LVN Long Term Care for a travel job in Lewiston, Maine.

Job Description & Requirements

3 years of LPN experience preferred

  • Prior experience in long-term care or rehab is a plus
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation

    Location : d'Youville Pavilion, Maine

    Job Type : Travel or Local Contract

    Note :

  • No candidates with licensure hits will be considered
  • Previous employees are not eligible for rehire
  • Position Overview :

    As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will partner with residents and care teams to deliver compassionate and high-quality care in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will provide both direct and indirect nursing care across a variety of units depending on patient needs.

    Available Units :

  • 3 East – Memory Care Unit (31 Beds) :
  • Specializes in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Requires strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills and an understanding of dementia-related behaviors as forms of communication.

  • Transitional Rehabilitation Unit (42 Beds) :
  • Short-term skilled nursing and rehab for post-surgical recovery (e.g., fractures, joint replacements, stroke). Skills needed : IV therapy, wound care, geriatric assessment.

  • 3 West – Long-Term Care Unit (42 Beds) :
  • Provides long-term placement in a home-like environment for residents needing ongoing care.

    Qualifications :
  • Education :
  • Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved LPN program

  • Associate Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Licensure :
  • Active LPN license in Maine or Compact License required

  • No licensure violations or hits accepted
  • Skills :
  • Strong teamwork and communication

  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Flexibility to float to various units and cover all shifts (24 / 7 operations)
