The Job
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Certified Nursing Assistants who provide services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients throughout the hospital. Duties include : assisting with general bedside nursing care such as bathing, shaving, dressing, and feeding patients; ambulating, repositioning and transporting patients; taking vital signs; assisting healthcare staff with dressing changes and procedures; changing bed linens and observing patients and reporting changes in patient conditions to a nurse in charge. Nursing Assistants in behavioral health will assist with the care of severely mentally ill, emotionally disturbed or mentally disabled patients requiring specialized care and treatment. In addition, Nursing Assistants may provide one-to-one or two-to-one direct patient observations to ensure patient safety.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public / nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet both the Certification and Experience requirements :
CERTIFICATION : Must possess and maintain Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Desired Qualifications
Bilingual candidates and those willing to work in the acute behavioral health setting are highly desired.
