What You Will Be Doing

As a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Staff Level 4, you will serve as the primary point of contact for ADP Skunkworks Sustainment Operations, ensuring mission-critical spares and repairs are available to support operational readiness. In this role, you will provide expert analysis, forecasting, and risk mitigation related to inventory management, configuration changes, and sustainment impacts. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, repair facilities, and military stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations across the lifecycle of supported systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as the central contact for sustainment operations, including spares forecasting, supportability assessments, MICAP sourcing, and configuration management impact evaluation.
• Track and report metrics for spares and repairs, ensuring inventory sufficiency aligns with mission requirements.
• Manage and control customer inventory assets under Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Total System Performance Responsibility (TSPR) contracts.
• Make operational decisions regarding inventory allocation, asset redistribution, and priority interpretation across suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs, and military operating locations.
• Respond to military service inquiries, support requests for proposals, and provisioning determinations.
• Utilize inventory optimization models and forecasts to manage budget requirements and ensure mission readiness.
• Interface with company and DoD information systems to maintain accurate asset identification and resolve technical or support issues.
• Prepare status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance, inventory position, and overall system readiness.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
