A company is looking for a Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage indemnity claims by investigating, evaluating, and determining compensability for work-related injury and disease claims
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective claims management and promote quality medical care
Analyze and negotiate claim settlements to achieve optimal outcomes while adhering to established policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance is required
One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
Knowledge of workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and court procedures
Experience managing claims through the litigation process
