Staff Pharmacist Temp-to-Perm (13 Weeks) Southgate, KY

Summary :

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment in Southgate, KY. This position offers weekday first-shift hours with occasional weekends and the opportunity to transition to a permanent role.

Schedule :

Monday Friday, 7 : 00 AM 3 : 00 PM, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM, or 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Closing shift (11 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM) scheduled once per week

Weekend coverage : Saturday, 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM; Sunday, 11 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

13-week temp-to-perm assignment

Responsibilities :

Process and accurately dispense prescription medications

Provide patient counseling regarding health care and prescriptions

Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of controlled substances

Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues

Requirements :

Active Kentucky pharmacist license in good standing

Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience

Retail or mail order pharmacy background preferred
