Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Grand Island, Nebraska.

  • Hospital : OR – Surgical Services
  • Shift : Days (6 : 30a–3 : 00p, 8-hour shifts)
  • Shift Length : 8 hours
  • Estimated Hours : 40 hrs / week + call
  • Drive Time to Closest Big City : ~2.5 hrs to Omaha, NE

    • Contract Details

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Length : 13 weeks
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 5x8s
  • Call :

    • Weeknights : 1 night per week

  • Weekends : Every 5th–6th weekend (Sat / Sun)
  • Holidays : Rotating holiday call
  • Floating : May float to Pre / Post-Op and ER for trauma cases
  • Orientation : 1 week in the OR
  • RTO : 7 days or less allowed at submission; no additional RTO approved
  • Cancellation Policy : Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 weeks

    • Requirements

  • BLS certification
  • Driver’s license required at submission (to verify 50-mile radius rule)
  • Cannot be current employee (FT, PT, or PRN) with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity
  • Must be strong in all service areas with neuro and craniotomy experience
